A jewel-green wedge carries fine orange-red stripes over a leaf. All three views support the colorful Graphocephala group, while close relatives limit an exact name.

A sensible first response
Watch the plant for meaningful damage before intervening. Record the host plant and add a close dorsal view for a stronger identification.
When to look
Filename record: June 20. These leafhoppers are active in the growing season.
Identification
IMG_9360, IMG_9361 and IMG_9362 show a wedge-shaped green leafhopper, yellowish head and legs, and narrow reddish-orange longitudinal wing bands. The three angles agree on the same general form.
Lookalikes & limits
G. coccinea and G. fennahi can be confused; the latter often has narrow red stripes and is associated with rhododendron. The host plant is not securely identified and diagnostic anatomy is absent. Species is deliberately left open.
In the garden
Sap feeder and small prey item. Its presence alone does not establish plant disease or a need for control.
