This collection begins with Holly’s own photographs. The original still images have been reviewed visually, with identification references linked in each entry. A photograph cannot always reveal an exact species.

Landscape reference
Extension-based pest profiles with separately credited reference photographs. These are identification aids, not sightings from Holly’s garden. Host plants, elevation, season, and actual damage matter.
High confidence
The visible features strongly support the named identification at the stated level, which may be a family rather than a species. This is a photo-based assessment, not an expert certification.
Probable
A likely identification, with important lookalikes or hidden features.
Unresolved
The photograph supports a broader group; a species name would be a guess.

Dates and locations come from the original filenames and have not been independently verified. Regional natural-history notes describe typical behavior; they are not observations of the photographed individual.

The three videos have playable, silent web copies. Representative frames were reviewed; that is not a full behavioral analysis. Their filenames contain no date or location. Original files and audio remain untouched. Your bookmarks and notes are stored only in this browser.
