Identification
IMG_7043 is labelled Jumping Spider, but the photograph shows a large rounded abdomen, long banded legs, reddish femora and a pale central abdominal pattern flanked by broad black areas. These favor Neoscona domiciliorum, an orb-weaver. The jumping-spider filename is not supported by the visible body form.
Lookalikes & limits
Neoscona crucifera and other orb-weavers vary considerably. The detailed reproductive characters used in formal spider identification are not shown, so species remains probable.
