Identification
IMG_9741 shows a relatively slender moth with broad wings held flat, diffuse gray mottling and fine curved transverse lines. The view is slightly soft and lacks a size reference.
Lookalikes & limits
Many North Carolina geometrids share this general pattern. A sharp straight-on image showing all wing lines, antennae and body would be more useful than assigning a name from color alone.
